Cambridge Health Group Announces 70 Bed Expansion Of Cambridge Hospital Jeddah

Cambridge Health Group (“CHG”), the GCC’s leading post-acute care provider and a subsidiary of Amanat Holdings PJSC (“Amanat” or the “Company”), today announces a major expansion of Cambridge Hospital Jeddah through an investment of approximately SAR 100 million, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to advancing specialized post-acute and rehabilitative care across the GCC.

The project will increase the capacity of Cambridge Hospital Jeddah from 200 beds to circa 270 beds, by adding up to 70 new beds and establishing Jeddah’s first dedicated rehabilitation hospital with inpatient and outpatient capabilities. The expanded state-of-the-art facility will include three rehabilitation gyms with robotic technology, catering for both inpatients and outpatients, designed to support comprehensive therapy programs and long-term vitality. The expansion builds on the successful completion of the facility’s earlier growth phase, which doubled the capacity from 100 to 200 beds and reflects CHG’s response to the rising demand for high-acuity and specialized rehabilitation services in the Western Region.

As part of the project, CHG will also introduce two operating theatres focused on musculoskeletal and spinal procedures, enabling an integrated model of care that connects surgical intervention, inpatient care and outpatient rehabilitation. This will strengthen CHG’s ability to deliver a continuum of care, from surgery through rehabilitation and functional recovery, within one integrated network.

Upon completion by early 2028, CHG’s total capacity across the GCC will increase to circa 800 beds, further strengthening its position as the largest post-acute care provider in the region and marking an important milestone in the Group’s mid-term growth plan to reach 1,000 beds.

Dr. Ali Saeed bin Harmal Aldhaheri, Chairman of Cambridge Health Group, said:

“This investment reflects our long-term strategic vision to expand Cambridge Health Group’s leadership position in post-acute care and rehabilitation across the GCC. The Jeddah expansion is particularly significant as it combines capacity growth with service-line enhancement, creating a more comprehensive care offering that spans surgery, rehabilitation and recovery.

Saudi Arabia is a strategically important market for Cambridge Health Group, and this project is aligned with our objective of creating a scalable, high-quality healthcare network that delivers sustainable value for patients, healthcare systems and shareholders.”

Wael Abdallah, Group Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Health Group, said:

“This expansion marks an important milestone in Cambridge Health Group’s growth journey and reflects our continued commitment to building a differentiated care offering across the GCC. By expanding Cambridge Hospital Jeddah and introducing surgical capabilities alongside dedicated inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, we are strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality, end-to-end patient care while addressing a clear and growing market need in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This investment underscores our confidence in the Kingdom’s healthcare transformation agenda and our ambition to play a leading role in advancing specialized post-acute and rehabilitative care through world-class facilities, clinical excellence and coordinated care pathways.”
