Alissar Flowers And Jetex Join Forces To Celebrate International Women’s Day
Alissar Flowers and Jetex worked together on a series of interactive workshops to congratulate Women in the Aviation industry for the celebration of International Women’s Day.
With a formidable CEO – the eponymous Alissar Mzayek – at the head of the commercial cut flower business, Alissar Flowers has always made celebrating women a priority.
Similarly, Jetex, Dubai’s biggest and most luxurious (FBO Fixed-Based Operator) Terminal and passenger lounge, is known for its workforce being comprised on 38 per cent women which has turned it into a global case study.
So, it stands to reason that these two female-focused entities united to celebrate International Women’s Day this year. The event, which took place on March 7 was in a workshop format and brought together around 50 women at Jetex Facilities at the Al Maktoum International Airport.
Alissar Flowers organised several collaborative floral workshops across the morning, while Jetex invited several professionals to join the event.
Not only was it a fun and informative day for everyone involved but was also an opportunity to say thank you for a job well done to all the women working in the aviation industry.
During the event, Adel Mardini the CEO and president of Jetex Flight Support said: “We are very excited to be joining forces with Alissar Flowers – a company we have always admired and who we have always collaborated with – in order to bring a selection of inspirational women together to celebrate International Women’s Day. It is widely known that Jetex has always been at the forefront of supporting women in the workplace and we believe that this event will help to further spread the message about empowering working women worldwide.”
