Almarai sponsors the GCC Future Impact Forum 2023 at Princess Nourah University

Almarai Company sponsored the GCC Future Impact Forum 2023, which was held in Riyadh on January 30-31, 2024, at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, in partnership with the Harvard University Club.

On Wednesday, Mohammed Alshuhail, the executive vice president of the food services sector at Almarai Company, participated in an interactive session titled “Food Security.”

Al-Shuhail began the session by talking about the importance of the role of the private sector in achieving food security, said: “The private sector plays a pivotal role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as it is considered an essential pillar for food security and the stability of the prices of food products in the Kingdom. It also works in systematic integration to produce what the Kingdom needs of food, and the focus is on diversification in the food industry to cover the greatest extent of the Kingdom’s needs.”

Al-Shuhail continued: “Almarai plays a strategic role in enhancing its growing role in achieving food security in the Kingdom in line with the goals of Vision 2030 as the largest producer and distributor of food and beverages in the Middle East, as the company produces more than 670 products across more than 11 brands in more than 13 facilities industrial and owns more than 10,000 trucks to distribute its products.”
