For his part, the General Manager of Corporate Communications of flynas, Mr. Ahmed Al-Musaind, explained that the Nas Sideburns podcast comes as an extension of the company’s strategy by approaching the specialized audience, amateurs and all traveling guests, by providing content that enriches the aviation, tourism and travel industry, and pointed to the importance of keeping companies abreast and integrating them with modern tools and means of communication that ensure the sustainability of customers’ access to everything new and in a way that deepens their sensory and auditory experience about the company and its activities, pointing to the importance of enhancing the knowledge aspect of aviation and enriching it by hosting Specialists.

Al-Musind added: “The culture of podcasts is not specific to a specific field, but can be invested in by employing it in several different fields, and we chose this technology because of our knowledge of tools to attract young people, and our interest in the educational, cognitive and social role of flynas, and the podcast takes a rapid form of development and has a specialized audience, and we found that Saudi production is the largest in the Arab world, where the flynas team worked four months ago on the idea and chose the Arabian Travel Forum in Dubai to be through it. Launch, as the region’s first podcast specialized in aviation, travel and tourism.”

flynas opened its first episode in podcasting about private aviation and enriching information about it, hosted by Eng. Majed Hafez, Commercial Manager at Nas Jet, to talk more about private aviation, its secrets and its most prominent audience, and talked about his self-made experience full of lessons and aspirations in the field of Saudi aviation and career and knowledge development in areas that serve the aviation sector in the Kingdom. Eng. Hafez told the story of his childhood dream to a clear career from studying mechanical engineering, to obtaining a private pilot’s license, to his work at NAS Holding as an aeronautical engineer.

Addressing listeners via podcast, Eng. Hafez encouraged young men and women to join the aviation field due to the need of the Saudi labor market in general and the world as a whole, for competencies in all disciplines and branches of this sector, which would keep pace with the increase in the number of aircraft, in addition to the demand for flights. He added: “Science does not end, and two disciplines can be combined in complementarity with each other, as a person’s knowledge of aviation and his work in sales at the same time is a strength, and this knowledge will highlight the company’s success points for customers and VIPs and convince them of its potential.”

It is noteworthy that the technology of “podcasts” began its first appearance in America since the beginning of 2004, and has recently begun to spread in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the production of podcasting is clearly growing by companies and individuals by providing specialized episodes in various fields that enrich Arabic content.
