flynas launches three weekly flights between Abha and Cairo

flynas, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, announced the launch of a new direct air route linking Abha and Cairo, the capital of the Republic of Egypt, starting August 30, 2017.

flynas started offering tickets through its website, smartphone application and sales agents, starting yesterday, July 31, at competitive and exclusive prices that include economy and business classes.

flynas flights from Abha Airport to Cairo International Airport will fly three weekly flights on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays of each week.

Commenting on the new flights, Bandar Al Muhanna, CEO of flynas, commented: “flynas is one of the most foreign companies that fly to different destinations within Egypt, especially with the launch of a new flight departure center from Abha to Cairo with three weekly flights, and these flights will serve the business sector between the southern region of the Kingdom and the Republic of Egypt, and support Arab tourism after Abha became the capital of Arab tourism for 2017.”

The launch of these flights comes as an extension of flynas’ obtaining the license to operate Abha Airport as a hub airport last year, which enables it to launch direct domestic and international flights from Abha Airport.
