flynas Organizes media trip to European destination Austria

flynas, the Saudi national air carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, organized a trip to Austria for Saudi media professionals, in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy in Riyadh, to explore prominent artistic and historical landmarks and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Alpine country.

Vienna, the Austrian capital, is one of flynas’ new summer 2019 destinations added as part of its expansion plan to meet the growing demand for new and distinctive destinations.

The trip included visits to Austria’s major cities, including Vienna, Salzburg and Zell am see. The media delegation started their trip from Zell am see lake southwest of Vienna, where they visited the popular Zell am see village and enjoyed its breathtaking lake and surrounding mountains. They continued their journey to Kaprun city situated at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn mountain, and Salzburg where they enjoyed magnificent civilization.

During the trip, Dr. Yahya Sharahili, Deputy Ambassador and Chargé d’affaires of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Austria and Acting Saudi Arabia’s Representative to international organizations in Vienna, reviewed the most prominent services provided to the Saudis.

He also stated that the proportion of Saudi visitors to Austria is increasing significantly, praising flynas’ step in launching direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Austria, which promotes cultural and tourism exchange between the two countries.

Moreover, flynas has announced the launch of its expansion strategy for the next phase, which included new destinations, and organized several media trips to its new destinations of Summer 2019, most notably Sarajevo, Batumi, Baku, Tbilisi and Vienna.
