flynas Receives Its 7th Airbus A320neo
flynas, the Saudi national air carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, announced that it has added the 7th A320neo to its fleet after receiving the aircraft on July 4th, 2020. The new aircraft is part of the SAR32 billion-agreement signed with Airbus in 2017 to purchase 120 A320neo aircraft.
flynas asserted its commitment to the agreement with Airbus and its persistence to pursue its expansion plans and its fleet renewal by adding the latest and most advanced aircraft to meet customers’ demand and keep pace with the anticipated growth in air travel in the coming period.
The 174-passenger Airbus A320neo is distinguished by its innovative technologies and the spaciousness of its cabin, which is the widest in the single-aisle aircraft category. The aircraft is equipped with a new generation of engines that contribute to a 15 percent cutback of fuel consumption and harmful emissions, and a 50 percent reduction of the noise level.
Since mid-May, flynas has resumed its domestic flights between the kingdom’s regions and airports following a halt that lasted for several months due to the fallouts of the COVID-19 pandemic. flynas has been taking all necessary precautions in full compliance with the standards of the Ministry of Health and the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to ensure the safety and comfort of all travelers and personnel.
