flynas to Spread Joy Among Elderly on International Day of Older Persons
As part of its service and social responsibility initiatives, flynas, the Saudi national air carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, organized a social initiative for the elderly at the Social Welfare Center for Men in Riyadh on Tuesday, 2nd October 2018.
This visit, which was attended by flynas employees, aimed at spreading joy, happiness and optimism among the elderly on their international day. Additionally, in response to the elderly’s wishes to perform Umrah, flynas offered free tickets to Makkah.
In this regard, Director General of Corporate Communication and spokesperson of flynas, Ahmad Al-Musained stressed that the aim of this visit is to reach out to this valued segment of society, which has had a long-term impact in shaping the future of a whole generation.
He added, “This visit, which coincided with the International Day of Older Persons, came to boost communication with this segment, in recognition of their effective and important role in our lives as a rising generation.”
Mr. Al-Musained said that this step, which falls within the framework of flynas’ social responsibility, is an attempt to embody the value and importance of family devotion. He also pointed to the beautiful impact of the visit on flynas’ employees, as they participated in Ardha dance that was performed to the elderly with some manifestations of the Saudi heritage.
This initiative is part of flynas’ activities in order to promote the concept of social responsibility, develop the community and contribute effectively to the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
