flynas welcomes Phase 1 Applicants of “Your Job is Your Scholarship” program
flynas, the national Saudi carrier and leading low cost airline in the Middle East welcomed the first batch of applicants of “Your Job is Your Scholarship” program, following a mutual agreement with the Ministry of Education.
This agreement comes in line with flynas’ national commitment towards the Saudi youth and its contribution towards achieving the objectives of the Custodian Scholarship Program that will be carried out in the third phase.
Through this program, flynas has listed the jobs and specializations required to fill the employment gap of national cadres in the aviation sector.
11 applicants from the “Your Job is Your Scholarship” program were employed by flynas and will be awarded a scholarship to earn diplomas in aircraft maintenance and aerospace engineering.
Bandar Al-Muhanna, Chief Executive Officer of flynas, said, “It is our responsibility towards this country and its citizens to support the talented Saudis, and provide them with opportunities to prove their capabilities and complete their studies under the Custodian Scholarship Program.”
Bandar Al-Muhanna added, “We at flynas will actively work towards achieve the objectives of the “Your Job is Your Scholarship” program, thus enabling national cadres to hold leadership positions in the aviation sector.”
Waleed Al-Hefdi, Director of Human Resources at flynas, said “We value the productive partnership with the Ministry of Education through “Your Job is Your Scholarship” program. Registrations for the program will start on 24th June 2018, and the terms, requirements and diplomas will be listed on the Custodian Scholarship Program’s website.”
It is worth mentioning that flynas has also launched the Pilot Cadet Program called “Future Pilots” which offers a unique opportunity for Saudi calibers to pursue their career in the aviation industry. This program aims to graduate Saudi pilots from renowned local and international academic aviation institutes who will then receive accredited certificates by the Kingdom’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). flynas has also opened vacancies for Saudi flight attendants who will be trained to be effective and efficient cabin crew team members.
