flynas Welcomes Pilgrims Flight Arriving from Morocco for Hajj Season 2024
Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – June 9, 2024:
flynas, the Saudi air carrier and the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and the world, has welcomed its flight of Moroccan pilgrims arriving in Jeddah for the Hajj season of 1445 AH (2024) on Saturday, June 8, as part of the leading LCC operations to fly more than 100,000 pilgrims from three continents.
The flight landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, within the Makkah Route Initiative, a fast-track program launched in 2019 as one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs to serve the pilgrims in parallel with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques.
Representatives from flynas and Jeddah Airports Company received the arriving pilgrims with flowers, dates, and Saudi coffee, introducing them to Saudi hospitality.
The operational period for the flynas Hajj plan extends for 73 days, including 936 flights transporting pilgrims from Europe, Asia, and Africa. flynas operations during the Hajj season will serve destinations in 17 countries in three different continents, including Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Comoros Is., Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, Senegal, Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, Kuwait, Bosnia, Turkey, and Oman.
