King’s College Riyadh Introduces New Digital Learning Ecosystem To Enhance Teaching And Learning

Ahead of students returning for the 2026–27 academic year, King’s College Riyadh is delighted to introduce a new Digital Learning Ecosystem, marking another significant investment in teaching and learning. As a member of the global schools group Cognita, the school continues to reinforce its commitment to delivering an outstanding British education while preparing students for success in an increasingly digital world.

The new ecosystem will initially be introduced for students in Years 5 to 8 at the school’s Diriyah campus, creating a connected learning environment that enriches classroom experiences and supports the development of creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and digital literacy.

Every teacher has been equipped with both a MacBook and an iPad, enabling greater mobility within the classroom and allowing them to provide more personalised, real-time feedback. Students will also have access to school-owned iPads throughout the school day, creating more interactive lessons and encouraging greater engagement across the curriculum.

The Digital Learning Ecosystem has been designed to enhance teaching and learning by integrating technology where it adds meaningful educational value. By combining Apple technology with Microsoft 365 within a consistent digital learning environment, teachers can create more engaging and collaborative classrooms where students actively participate in lessons, share ideas, receive immediate feedback and take greater ownership of their learning, while maintaining the balanced, teacher-led approach that is central to a high-quality British education.

The initiative reflects King’s College Riyadh’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and forms part of Cognita’s wider digital learning strategy, creating a consistent and future-focused learning experience for both teachers and students.
