Ministry Of Defense And Saudia Private Collaborate To Enhance Air Force Support Services
The Ministry of Defense and Saudia Private, a strategic business unit of Saudia Group, have signed an agreement aimed at bolstering air and logistical support services for a variety of Air Force aircraft. The signing ceremony took place during the World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh.
The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, and His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group. The agreement was then signed by Ibrahim Al Suwayed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Armament and Procurement, and Dr. Fahd Al-Jarbou, CEO of Saudia Private.
This agreement encompasses of operational and technical support services tailored for Air Force C130, Boeing 707, and Saab 2000 aircraft beyond the borders of the Kingdom. Furthermore, it includes provisions for servicing ten C130 aircraft stationed at King Abdullah Air Base in the Western sector.
Expressing his pride in the partnership with the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Fahd Al-Jarbou, emphasized its role in delivering innovative solutions and high-quality services to the military sector. He further highlighted the commitment to expanding this cooperation, envisaging future partnerships encompassing operations, services and products, leveraging the extensive technical expertise, cutting-edge technologies, and skilled personnel.
Saudia Private specializes in a vast scope of services for military aircraft and helicopters, encompassing ground operations, aircraft management and maintenance, as well as aircraft rental. Additionally, it offers tailored services and products to both domestic stakeholders and international partners.
