Priority Pass Exceeds 1200 Milestone

Priority Pass, the world’s original and best-known airport experiences program, is proud to announce Members can now access more than 1200 lounges, dining and spa experiences globally. The expansion of its offering follows another strong year of growth which has led to Priority Pass now being welcomed at locations in over 500 cities and 143 countries. Priority Pass has added 141 new lounges from June 2017 to June 2018, to cater to increased demand from travelers for a premium experience at airports.

Alongside the additions to the traditional lounge portfolio, Priority Pass has introduced 34 new dining, spa and relaxation experiences that can be accessed in the same way as lounges, broadening the choice for Members while at the airport.

As the needs of travelers continue to evolve, we’re constantly striving to further improve and develop the Priority Pass offering, providing our Members with access to the very best possible experiences each time they travel.”

Priority Pass has seen significant growth around the world with forty-eight new lounges added across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Highlights across the Middle East include access to the prestigious Prime class Lounge in the new Muscat International Airport in Oman as well as the naSmiles Lounge at Dammam King Fahd International in Saudi Arabia.  Further afield has seen a number of new openings in Russia, including the addition of the Kandinsky Lounge at Moscow Sheremetyevo, Moscow’s largest and busiest airport.

In Asia Pacific 64 lounges have been added to the network in the region, with noteworthy expansion in Australia. Members can now benefit from the comfort of lounges in Adelaide and Melbourne airports for the first time, and also enjoy access to an additional lounge in Sydney’s Terminal 2.

In North America, 27 new lounges have joined, including the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Los Angeles – LAX International Terminal 2, the first Virgin Clubhouse lounge in the Priority Pass program. Additionally, following an exclusive partnership at Miami International with Air Margaritaville, Members can enjoy island-inspired cuisine and drinks in a laid-back dining atmosphere.

In Latin America, there have been more additions to the program, offering more experiences than ever before. New deals with bars and restaurants including Bleriot Bar& Lounge and La Bonbonniere in Brazil and Peru provide Members with more choice at the airport when flying.
