Research-Led Soulful Place-Maker IMKAN, Reveals Second Edition Of ‘IMKAN Box’ At Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2018

The IMKAN Box, a research lab, atelier and creative studio returns to Cityscape for its second edition, bringing upcoming projects to life through cutting-edge technology, research and design. This year, the box features a unique model 6m x 8m x 6m; showcasing the Ras Al Akhdar development in Abu Dhabi. Heatherwick Studio has conceptualized the design of this boutique hotel development, that is set to be a new landmark in the region.

Makers District

New Heart of Abu Dhabi, IMKAN’s Makers District’s Land Reclamation to be completed by May 2018

Located across from Saadiyat Island’s Cultural district, Makers District – IMKAN’S pioneering project in Abu Dhabi – will highlight the company’s innovative and research-oriented approach to architecture and community-building. The first phase of the Makers District cluster on Reem Island comprises of seven towers and will soon be an unparalleled urban neighborhood for the millennial mindset and change-makers. These mixed-use human scale buildings, branded as “Pixel” will have a built-up area of 85,000 square meters and offer 525 residential units, artisanal F&B and retail as well as co-working spaces. Other components include The Artery, a space for art designed to evoke pure creative ability. Once complete, it will foster a creative hub for the regions makers.

Alburouj, a fully integrated community in East Cairo, spanning over 1,200-acre (5 million sqm), is situated in the rapidly developing new residential destination in Egypt. IMKAN Highlights Cutting-edge Projects in Morocco

Abu Dhabi-based real estate company IMKAN, is showcasing its upcoming projects in Morocco at this year’s Cityscape Abu Dhabi.
