Tasnee CEO participates at the Environmental Compliance Forum 2024

Mr. Mutlaq H. Al-Morished, Tasnee CEO, participated as a keynote speaker in a panel discussion on «Emerging Sustainable Technologies & Innovations» at the Environmental Compliance Forum 2024, held in Riyadh on February 25 – 26, 2024. The forum was organized by the National Center for Environmental Compliance, with the participation of experts and decision-makers in the field of environment at the local, regional, and global levels and aimed at developing a comprehensive vision for advancing the environmental sector among government, private, and non-profit sectors.

Mr. Al-Morished presented the Sustainable Development Goals in KSA and the Saudi Vision 2030, which adopts several significant programs, initiatives, and projects expected to enhance efforts towards achieving sustainable development. He highlighted the Saudi plans to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2060, emphasizing the alignment of Tasnee Strategy 2022 with national plans. He stressed the importance of dealing with climate change through the use of emerging and sustainable technologies and focusing on circular economy, conversion of oil into chemicals, increasing reliance on renewable energy.

The Environmental Compliance Forum 2024 attracted more than 40 global and regional figures who discussed various topics related to future trends in sustainable environment. The forum served as an important platform for discussing best practices in the field of environment through sessions and discussion panels that facilitated the exchange of opinions and perspectives on the latest developments in the areas of environment and sustainable development.
