Tasnee Launches Awareness and Treatment Anti-Smoking Campaign in Riyadh and Jubail

As a continuation of its programs in social responsibility and in conjunction with World NoTobacco Day which fell on Friday, May 31, 2024, Tasnee launched an awareness and treatment anti-smoking campaign in Riyadh and Jubail in cooperation with CSR success partner, Naqaa Anti-Smoking Association.

At Galleria Mall in Jubail, and under the sponsorship of the CEO of the Royal Commission in Jubail, with the participation of the Anti-Smoking Clinics, and in the presence of several officials from Tasnee and the Royal Commission, Eng. Khalid Al-Khater, VP Manufacturing, and Eng. Mohammed Al-Zahrani, Director General of Investment Development at the Royal Commission, inaugurated the awareness campaign and the accompanying exhibition to define the harms of smoking. The event continued for 4 days and aimed to raise awareness for more than 2,000 visitors and treat more than 150 beneficiaries.

In Jubail as well, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Tasnee Anti-Smoking Clinics participated in the awareness and treatment exhibition for the employees of the TPC, with the aim of raising awareness among the employees about the harms of smoking. The exhibition included a set of medical models, treatment and awareness materials, and initial detection devices.

At Othaim Mall in Riyadh, Tasnee organized another awareness and treatment exhibition in cooperation with Naqa’ Association from May 22 to June 5, 2024, to raise awareness among visitors and treating more than a thousand beneficiaries out of the approximately 5,000 targeted visitors to the exhibition. Simultaneously, the Tasnee Anti-Smoking Clinics provided their services to the targeted individuals in various regions and entities.

The event reflects Tasnee keenness to enhance its role in social responsibility and support awareness, educational, and treatment programs according to the Saudi protocol for smoking cessation through Tasnee Anti-Smoking Clinics, in cooperation with the “Naqa” Association.
